You can use our free points calculator if you are planning to apply for an Australia General Skilled Migration visa. This calculator is applicable to Subclass 189 (Skilled Independent), Subclass 190 (State Nominated), and Subclass 491 (Skilled Work Regional – Provisional) visas, and is based on the official points system set by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
The Australia General Skilled Migration points system takes into account factors such as age, English language proficiency, work experience, education, and other criteria. A minimum of 65 points is required to apply; however, a score of 80 points or higher is generally recommended to receive a competitive invitation.
Want the full picture of how the points test works, including how each factor is weighted? See our General Skilled Migration Visas Points Calculator guide for a complete breakdown, or book a consultation with a registered migration agent to confirm your eligibility properly.
